What is the KANARA mobile app?
The KANARA Kitesurfing app is a free to use mobile application that enables kitesurf athletes and fans to gamify their kitesurf sessions.
The application syncs with your smartwatch or smartphone, enabling you to track and share your performance, create and take part in real-time competitions with other riders anywhere in the world, earning points, climbing the leaderboards and creating connections.
Players can then redeem points within the Marketplace for great deals and rewards on kitesurf gear and other products and services related to our lifestyle. A portion of all transactions in the Marketplace is reserved for sustainable initiatives.
KANARA is focused on rewarding athletes for performance, encouraging competition and multiplying fun.
Who Can Use the App?
We built the KANARA app primarily for kitesurfers. Water sports and other action sports enthusiasts are welcome to contact us to discuss using our app for your preferred sport.

If you do not have a Garmin device or Garmin Connect account, don’t fear! We are rapidly building new relationships and connections.
How Much Is the App?
The KANARA mobile app is completely free to download and play on Android and iOS devices!
What Are KANARA Points?
Points are earned through practice, logging your performance metrics.
Points can be lost by losing player versus player challenges or disobeying the Game Rules.
I don’t have a smartwatch, help!
We highly recommend using a durable, waterproof sports smartwatch or fitness tracker to use our application.
